Recently a customer dropped me a message about a new idea for spears. I have put a note on most of the miniatures that come with spears that they are not always printed that well.

I saw your post on the roundtable about changing the plastic spears for wire ones. And I thought I would recommend a method I found online for spears. Which is to take some bristles from a carbon fiber broom and then you take a pair of needle nose pliers and squeeze the end of the bristle and then you can cut it with an X-Acto knife to form a point so it looks like a spear and of course you can cut the fiber whatever length you want and then glue that into the hand of a plastic or metal figure with crazy glue.
And it will stay there forever it’s flexible and it won’t pop out of their hand and yet it keeps its shape. I replaced all of my hoplite spears with this method and they look great and they never pop out of their hands also since it’s not wire it doesn’t damage any of the gamers. Give it a try and let me know what you think
